Bewdley Christmas Lights Festival

We are very sorry to announce that we will no longer be running this event in future.

Bewdley Town Council have decided that they want “something new and fresh for the Christmas Lights event this year”

As you know we have always sought to support Charities and Community Groups at this event, it remains to be seen what will happen, but we hope that you have benefited over the years both financially, and in fellowship and friendship.

The Christmas Lights Festival was financed primarily from the proceeds of our other events, as we will not be paying for the Christmas event and our insurance is due for renewal in May, we have decided to cancel the Art & Craft Weekend and Pumpkin Day.

Should you wish to know more about what Bewdley Town Council has planned for Christmas this year, we would suggest you contact the town clerk, Nick Farress.

The Committee would like to thank everyone who has supported us over many years, by attending, having a stall, providing entertainment, volunteering and the many others who allowed us to put the event on and grow it over the years. We like to think of as our friends, we will miss you all and wish you all the best.
